Gloria Victis ends its Glory Season and merges servers on July 30

Gloria Victis wraps up its Glory Season on July 30 with a ranking reset, merges its servers per region and runs a community event to hunt down the game master. Your character progress stays untouched.
Gloria Victis is closing out Phoenix's Glory Season this Thursday, July 30, and rolling straight into a new one — but the announcement carries a lot more: a server merge per region and a community event to hunt down the game master. Using the official Steam announcement as our guide, here's what changes and what you need to know before maintenance.
End of the Glory Season
The season's final day is Wednesday, July 29, set aside as a dedicated closing day: no Nation Points can be earned or lost, and the scoreboards for the other season-based rankings (Glory and Arena) are frozen. When the new season kicks off, Nation Points, Glory Points and Arena points all start counting from zero again. The new season begins after Thursday's maintenance, once the previous season's rewards have been handed out.
So what is a Glory Season? It's a season-based ranking that rewards activity in faction vs faction vs faction PvP. Each season runs about two months, and the top players earn unique titles and gold. On top of that, every Thursday night there's a Contribution Points (CP) bonus — the currency used to buy special items from the Glory Quartermasters — scaled to your spot on the leaderboard. Key detail: ending a season does not wipe your progress; characters, levels and items all stay, only the ranking standings reset.
Server merge
During that same Thursday maintenance, the studio will merge the servers in each region, leaving every region with a single server. They stress that if the need arises later, they'll spin up extra regional servers without hesitation — their infrastructure lets them launch a new one at any time. The move rides on recent optimizations that raise the player population a server can hold without sacrificing performance, with the promise of bigger fights across the map.
What to expect from the merge? Your crafting workshops placed in the open world will be destroyed, and their resources move to the auction house to be claimed; your Guild Islands and guilds transfer to the destination server along with their workshops; and that destination server becomes the primary one for your account and guild.
Event: find the game master
To mark the occasion, Gloria Victis is running a find-the-GM event. Today on the Dukla server, anyone who finds him walks away with top-tier resources, and the first to reach him gets a Tier 5 item with a +7 enchantment and the GM's signature. There are 6 items up for grabs, the GM will appear at 5 spots on the map, and he'll stay 20 minutes at each.

The Dukla event starts today, 07/27/2026 at 21:00 GMT+8. The schedule continues 07/28 at 21:00 ET on Monteverde and 07/30 at 21:00 ET on Aquilla.
Between the ranking reset, the server unification and the live events, it's a big week of change for the Gloria Victis community. If you're chasing the leaderboard, make these final hours before the July 29 cutoff count; and if the GM's loot tempts you, you already know where to look.
